Fall of Atlantis
This, free, Fall of Atlantis show is at the Caesars Palace Forum Shops area. The story: King Atlas tries to decide which of his two children will rule Atlantis. The children try to destroy each other, with the winner to be the ruler. However, the gods are not pleased with their behavior and send a 20–foot winged beast to watch the destruction of Atlantis by fire and water. The audio was just as poor when we saw the show as it is on this movie clip. (Feb. 24, 2007)

Fountain Show at the Bellagio
This fountain ballet, free, is held in front of the Bellagio Hotel on Lake Bellagio. The music is over loudspeakers and is “Hey Big Spender” from Sweet Charity. The music changes from time to time. (Feb. 25, 2007)

The gondoliers march to work singing at 9:45 a.m. They also repeat the performance, I assume, in the other direction, at 4:30 p.m. At the Venetian Grand Canal, free. (This was taken on Feb. 26, 2007. The schedule might be different now.)

Kris and Brandi’s Las Vegas Elvis Wedding
Right before the “Elvis wedding” of Brandi Lomeli and my son, Kris Drouet, they were legally married by Bob, an ordained Methodist minister, at the Elvis Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada. Brandi and Elvis didn’t realize that I was taking a movie clip of the wedding. They were wondering why my camera flash didn’t go off and why I was still holding my camera still––you’ll see them a bit confused looking at me. (June 13, 2009)
