We drove from Eroud to Ouarzazate, a distance of 219 miles along the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs. We are saw many of the old kasbahs, some in ruins, but you have to go into the villages along the way to see many more.

Ouarzazate, our overnight stop, is the movie capital of Morocco, with many studios here. Parts of some movies that were filmed here: Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars, Mummy, and Gladiator.
